  • Getting my Steam Id

The announcements forum directs you to this link:
    http://tacticalgamer.com/showthread.php?t=29293

    ....which appears to be broken?

So how do I find out what my steam id is? I want to put it in my profile, of course.

Is there any other type of treatment we get?

So then, some1 might wanna fix the announcements threads which point to that "broken" link.

Meanwhile - I saw the instructions at that link last night, and followed them - sort of.

                1) I started the game and tried it - but it reported nothing.

Thinking I might have to actually be in a game....

                2) I created my own server and tried again. It reported some info on me, but nothing that looked like a Steam ID.

So - do I have to be in a game on a non-local server for this to work? Or ... is there any other way to get my Steam ID? Or ... am I too dumb and I should just give up? :)

Thank you for that suggestion, however obvious it may be. We'll have it fixed soon.

Apophis: I haven't seen anyone say that SM's are better than non-SMs. Nordbomber: This is THE first server I've seen where either side can comeback from out of seemingly nowhere with the right teamwork. en4rcment: I have NEVER experienced the type of gameplay that I have found here. Nightly I am amazed at the personalities and gaming talent. Since our servers are down, I think, log in to Steam, then join a pub server. You need to enable the console, etc....and then you can follow the directions.
