  • Microphone Question

    Hi All-

I've been playing quite of bit of BF2 and would like to join in on the CS - TG server for some action packed rounds.

What keys work the mic? I've played CS, but never have been able to work the mic. Is it similar to BF 2? In BF 2, I have one of my mouse keys bound for in game squad speak and it works fine. Or does everyone use TeamSpeak (which I also have)?

    -Thanks!

    Re: Microphone Question

I've rebound the key to one of my mouse buttons, so I can't help you off the top of my head. Just go to the keyboard controls and make the button you want to be the PTT button!

        Re: Microphone Question

        Another mic related question:

My mic volume is usually too low. I have set the volume in Control Panel to the max, but it is still too low. I have also set the mic send volume in BF2 to the max and reduced the mic threshold to 5%. Still no good.

The only thing that works is to put the mic VERY close to my mouth.

        Any suggestions?

Start > Control Panel > Sound and Audio Devices

          Voice Tab

          -Voice Recording-

That should allow you to change the volume IIRC.
