  • Creating an quick connect shortcut for CSS

The following is a quick tutorial to help those who want to have a quick connect shortcut on thier desktop.
    1. Open your steam games listing right click counter-strike source and create a desktop shortcut.
    2. Right click the shortcut you just made and click on properties
    3. There will be 3 Tabs on the top, Click on "shortcut" tab
    4. Find the "Target Box" I have included a graphic to help you find it
    5. Add the following to the end of the existing text without quotes " +connect 70.87.55.29:27015"
    6. The full line should look something like this depending on your install.

      Code:
      "C:\Program Files\Steam\steam.exe" -applaunch 240 +connect 70.87.55.29:27015
    7. Press APPLY then close it by pressing OK
    8. Click on the shortcut if it is done right you will be connecting to the server

Thank you Hogan, this'll be alot quicker than opening CSS, then typing in console, etc. =)
