The tourney will folow a format similar to what is found here, except that the final will be single elimination and the "loser of C" and "loser of D" legs will be switched to ensure that teams won't play each other twice in a row right away.

Teams are assigned simply A-F -> 1-6 so teams A and B have a bye for week 1.

    Map information will follow shortly.

    3) Support game play in a near-simulation environment. Where the focus of play would not be solely on doing what it takes to win, but doing so utilizing real-world combat strategy and tactics rather than leveraging exploits provided to players by the design of the game engine.

Since this is double elimination and not by points, here is how the scoring will be for each match:

Just as before, 12 wins will take the match. The way it works this time, however, is that for the first half, the teams play 11 rounds before the sides switch. The teams then continue playing until one team has 12 wins. That team is the winner of the match. So, let's say team A wins the first half 7-4... If that team wins 5 more on the second half before the other wins 8 more, then A is the winner.

Ok, the maps for this tournament will be, by week:

    1. Office
    2. Italy
    3. Penstock
    4. Menace
    5, Inferno
    6. Dust2

The matchups for Week 1 are:
    C vs. F -- Thursday 10:00 EDT
    D vs. E -- Thursday 8:30 EDT
    A and B have a bye.

A will face the winner of D vs. E in Week 2. B will face the winner of C vs. F in Week 2. The Week 1 losers will wait until Week 3 to face their next opponent.

    3) Support game play in a near-simulation environment. Where the focus of play would not be solely on doing what it takes to win, but doing so utilizing real-world combat strategy and tactics rather than leveraging exploits provided to players by the design of the game engine.

                Congrats to Team E - H4x.

Tourney Champions over a very competitive Team B - Bellum.
