ok, since that gun thread did so well im gonna do maps.
whats with jungle, persoanly i can't get enough of that map but some people just leave the server when they see it as next map.
its awesome cause of the huge amount of cover and the low visiblity if your moving. it is a bit slanted towards the t team but if the ct work together and use a lot of flashes its pretty easy to win.
    anyone esle got an oppion?

I sell oppions for a living. My *opinion*, on the other hand, of jungle is that many people find it laggy, and thats why they leave. I'm often one of those people. The map itself is really great, I just wish I had a PC that could handle it.

      Re: Map Preferences

Lots of map are to much for my computer right now as i am currently running an old ati 7000 card.

Once i get a new one, that will change.

What bites is i have a gf6600 card but my powersupply hates it.

        Maps I love:

        Italy
        Office
        Contra
        Piranesi

        Maps I hate:
        Aztec
        Prodigy

        3) Support game play in a near-simulation environment. Where the focus of play would not be solely on doing what it takes to win, but doing so utilizing real-world combat strategy and tactics rather than leveraging exploits provided to players by the design of the game engine.

            Re: Map Preferences

I bought a radeon 9250 till i get my FX card back, but jungle is super laggy on that card, i had to tweak settings to get it run decently.

            My favorite maps are:
            Penstock
            office
            piranesi
            jungle
            and dust2

I hate aztec and prodigy, cobble can be thrown in there too.

              I like:
              -office
              -compound
              -italy
              -penstock
              -aztec
              -piranesi
              -havana
              -cbble

I dislike because of the map:
              -prodigy
              -nuke
              -inferno
              -chateau
              -contra

I dont like cause of technical issues:
-jungle - BSP hole in the vent (T's can be invisible when on the vent above tunnels), no armor buying in air, but still - $1000, and CT spawn damage (add water!)
-compound - BSP hole in the shack roof. I cant see CT's, or they cant see me, and I can sometimes see through the wall through the hole.
              -dust2 - L...............A................G.............!

                Inferno is my favorite map.

Jungle is far too big in my opinion...no offense to Vulcan, but too big for my liking. Course, then again, I like close quarters maps...(IE: Office, Inferno.)
If it isn't PCS, whats the point?

Aggressive Defense (an oxymoron): A naturally occurring situational event where a defender is caught in a role reversal anomaly. Usually associated with lack of practice, discipline or map awareness in a team based conflict.

whats up with prodigy? im seeing all these folks with it in thier dislike list, and jewish says he likes it? is the map oriented to some style of play that most people don't want to deal with? or is it just the barrels? and as ive said elsewhere i can mispel anything, and often at that. so correcting my english won't actually change anything.

Prodigy has just two ways for the Ts to attack.. One is a slaughterfest, and the other is a slaughterfest.

Sniper maps are good for racking up kills, but not for completing the objective imo.

No, not just two ways for the Ts to attack, two chokepoints for the T's to get past. Once the T's get past the chokepoint, they have multiple routes to either bombsite.
