    From the RO2 forums.

    We're going to be rolling an update to the beta out shortly. Here is the changelog for your perusal:


    - Turned on Speedhack detection and added a system to allow server admins to decide what to do with a player when they are detected using a speedhack (kick, session ban, or permanent ban).
    - Fixed PreStartDuration not working properly which caused the round to start prematurely after a map change.
    - Fixed getting stuck with a zoomed FOV when using grenades
    - Added ability to turn off anti-aliasing
    - Fixed floating meshes when a player dies
    - Fixed destructibles not updating their shadows when destroyed
    - Fixed DOF inside tanks
    - The ranked server system is now operational
    - Player progression stats are now saving and loading
    - Unranked servers are now showing up as unranked in the browser
    - Realism modes are hooked up and functional
    - Killing a tank now gives extra points based on the number of players in the tank
    - New map list: Gumrak, Grain Elevator, Barracks, Red October Factory
    - Team balance changes. Commanders and top scoring players no longer get team swapped on death. The role select menu will not appear immediately to make it more obvious that you have died. Also, fixed a bug where an axis soldier could spawn on the allied team or vice versa.
    - Fixed some HUD icons sticking around on the screen
    - Fixed Countdown ending with time still on the clock
    - Fixed automatically firing your weapon sometimes when respawning
    - Fixed some issues with scoring in Firefight and prevented running out of reinforcements in this game type
    - F10 will now cancel a pending server connection properly when stuck on a loading screen

        Fixed automatically firing your weapon sometimes when respawning
        This was a BIG problem. Gun would randomly auto-fire from the time you spawned until you reached a fire zone, and you'd go to shoot only to find you're out of ammo. Had to remember to switch to the pistol when that happened.

          Well, darn I was hoping this was going to pop on Steam after I posted, still waiting. Guess it's something to do with Valve time.

            I am sad to announce we hit some last minute issues getting the new build ready for tonight.

            Our current hope/plan is to get it out tomorrow morning. Once again we are sorry for the delay.
            Bummer.

              Apparently Steam now has the update and TWI are just waiting on them to push it. Will leave my PC running steam tonight so if it pops up any time I will have it good to go in the morning.

                      Update is out, but there are no servers hosting the new maps yet.

                        There are a few servers with the new maps. Unfortunately, ours is not one of them.

                        I just checked out Barracks and it seems like a cool, CQB style map. Very hectic, lots of shooting and dying. I think I am gonna love it, once we get some talking teamwork going on that is.

                              We are looking into the issue of updated servers NOT showing up in the browser. For now, connect via IP. Look in the forums for some.

                              We also strongly suggest those who are crashing on the new build to try turning down their settings. You may be running out of memorry on one of the new maps.

                              We'll be working hard tomorrow while some of you are enjoying your holiday to try and figure these things out!

                              As always, we strongly recommend you check out hte performance settings listed Here while we search for why some users are having subpar performance . Keep in mind, the larger player count servers will require stronger hardware to maintain performance. More is going on and more has to be rendered.
