  • Pre-load RO2 now on Steam!

Pre-load is about 7.9GB's. Scroll down to your RO2 game, right-click, then hit pre-load info. Or a restart in Steam should pop up the announcement for it.

    Preloading it now.

Only thing is that I would think a lot of the files would be the same between the preload (release?) and beta version. Wish that it would just transfer those files over or something to prevent having to download the game yet again. Stupid Canadian ISP's and data caps. Guess that would be easier said than done to do though.

They are separate builds on purpose.

Tried to pre-load last night, but the servers were too busy. Now I have to wait till after work to get it loading up. Really looking forward to the full game.

Yea I get that, just would have thought that a lot of would have been the same, and it would just be able to transfer it over. Not that its that big of a deal.

And I was looking at it on steam, and it would appear that the game unlocks mid afternoon mountain time. Strange time for a game on steam to unlock. Almost everyone I have preloaded (or prepurchased) because available at 11am.

I'm speculating that's why release time changed by a couple of hours.
