For those of you still not at the top tier's and for any of those who have played them, what are your feelings on the new re-designed Russian tanks? I am currently grinding out the KV-4 , but so far I am not impressed with the T-150. I never really enjoyed the original KV-3 and I feel as if the T-150 has fallen into that category. The other tanks are a blast to play to include the KV-2 derp! Thoughts? Comments? Witty anecdotals?

I managed a few games in the new KV-3 and I like it more than the IS. The new guns and engines make a huge difference.
I plan to sell my IS and KV-1. Will try a another tank tonight.

KV1 was quite alright. KV2 is fun, especially with Derp cannon. T150 was like an unupgraded KV3 from pre 7.3 patch. And KV3 was just meh. I sold all of them except for the KV2

I am curious how the KV-4 and ST-1 are.

Anyone have one in their garage or plan on trying them out?

I have learned that the IS-8 is a giant version of the T-54. Run and gun, great for moving around to exploit those slow moving units. The gun is Freaking amazing, the armor not so much.

                  Re: Russian Line

KV4 is....politely put, not that good. It's really slow, have a gigant weakspot called the mantlet on the second turret (needed if you want to play with the long 107), lacks mobility and get set on fire very easily. Armor might seem impressive but it's flat and if you have over 175 pen you can just autoaim and penetrate due to weakspots.

                      Re: Russian Line

I don't own a KV-5, so this is from the perspective of facing them. When I see a KV-4, I think free xp, when I see KV-5 I wonder if he's any good (good ones can be a pain, bad ones are not).

KV-5 are faster and more agile (believe it or not), KV-5 also have a more favourable mm than KV-4.
