Unfortunately I'm only running a 2ghz iMac with a 128MB GPU which is whack for 2142. Although I've just realised that this plays UT2004 on highest settings at brill frame rates. What's the deal EA?

On the upside, I'm now in possession of my new Acoustimass 5 Bose Soundsystem.

Ah... everyone seems to be on the iMac these day. I always go to the apple store and end up hovering and drooling over the huge iMacs....
Which reminds me of this particular Simpson's episode :D

Mac Pro user here. The Nvidia 8800 card blows chunks on BF2142 unfortunately, so I'm awaiting the ati4870 hopefully soon so as not to get a 5fps frame rate during artillery barrages.

I tested what the max price I could get a mac pro up to on the Apple Store website, with things like extra monitors etc etc, and I got it to 10000. Colossal.

I have decided to just be at peace with my tiny 15" macbookpro :D
It was a choice between getting the mac with all the bells and whistles, or paying my rent. I hate to admit that I chose rent over the mac.

By the way, you guys might know this already, but just in case: It turns out that the Mac version of the BF2142 DVD will also work in bootcamp. I forgot to exchange my DVD that day, and left the mac DVD in the drive, and it worked fine when I started up the windows version of the game in Bootcamp.
