    Ad Hominem Tu Quoque

Just because Kerry is an idiot doesn't mean the platform is that far off. Something needs to be done about the situation. Gas is up to $1.89 here and I'd kill for a hybrid.

This isn't logic class, its about selecting leaders, and leaders must be candid people. Like him or not, everyone knows where GWB stands on an issue, and everyone understands the direction he's leading us in. Some people like that direction, some don't.

But Kerry does his damndest to avoid taking a position, including bragging about his big SUV to a group of auto workers last month, then first denying that he had an SUV, and finally laying it on his family. Nice stones, dude!

We've been over $2 for a year now.... I dont know what to think about Kerry though.... I'd rather have someone who is willing to take a stand and make desicions than someone who trys to say what he thinks wants to be heard

I'm not sure why there isn't more promotion/research/incentive for this :

    This guy is an idiot

Kerry said it's important for his family to buy American cars and pledged to keep car manufacturing jobs in the country if elected. He said he is interested in a hybrid car, and has talked to Ford about making it the ``campaign car.''

``We're going to keep jobs in America and help the industry be more competitive with foreign manufacturers that are building those cars today,'' Kerry said.

The Massachusetts senator said he'll release more details during the jobs tour about his plans to keep jobs in the country.

``I want cars to be made in Michigan, made in America, made'' by the United Auto Workers, Kerry said.
So I guess Nissan is a foreign devil even though they have plants in Tenessee and Mississippi

Hell, the company I work for is a foreign company. Guess we should boycott them too.....

To quote George Will "well I want caviar and Ferraris for everyone, but the world does not seem to cater to my wishes."

Kerry wants lots of nice things for people.

Absolutely. Unless the price/quality difference is substantial, I'll always buy from an American company before I'd even look at a crapanese or other foreign company's products...

I know that there are products that are made almost entirely inside the US by foreign companies. I know that they employ hundreds of thousands of Americans. I know that it benefits our economy to support them.

But all of their profits will be leaving the US. If everyone bought from American companies, it would help our economy even more and the profits would stay inside our nation.

    Buy American!

    because it's not completely true.

    3) Biodiesel reduces Carbon Dioxide emissions, the primary cause of the Greenhouse Effect, by up to 100%. Since biodiesel comes from plants and plants breathe carbon dioxide, there is no net gain in carbon dioxide from using biodiesel.

^^the above, my friends, is hilarious.

Re: Kerry Says His 'Family' Owns SUV, Not He

I say it's BS, else we'd see more on it. I haven't done any research, but I'd put it on the same level as the website that had instructions on how to convert a gasoline engine into one that supposedly coverts water into H2 and O2 to provide combustion.

Needless to say, automechanics laughed at the idea. It's either a joke, or someone trying to dupe gullible people.
